I am all about shortcuts especially when it comes to spicing up sauces like this Cilantro Lime Dressing! It is a dressing that pairs perfectly with my Blackened Fish Tacos and is a great dressing to have for any salad or just a Mexican night!
I love a good recipe that starts from something store bought. For this dressing you will use the Cilantro Avocado dressing from Bolthouse. The Bolthouse dressing was created to be a ranch dressing alternative and we are going to add a few things to it to make it a perfect pair with any taco or salad! Therefore, perfect as a base for this spiced-up dressing!
If you don’t have access to the Bolthouse dressing, substitute it with a plain ranch and add additional cilantro and lime juice to taste at the end.
Mexican night is something we do at my house all the time. I love using this as a taco sauce, a dip fro taquitos, and its even great with chips! I have even been known to get this out of the fridge and eat it with Ruffles! (Don’t judge me! It’s just that good!) Another great thing about the recipe is that you can make a batch ahead of time and keep for several days.
