Did you go to Culinary School?

No, I didn’t.  I am actually in Marketing and work a professional job and travel a ton, but I love cooking and want to share that with all of you!  I’m learning right alongside you!

Where do you get your inspiration?

I get my inspiration from you!  I love getting messages about recipes you need, parties you are hosting that you need inspiration for, or just quicker ways to cook certain things!  Everything I cook I try to do in 30 minutes or less, with one pot (or two maybe), and 5 or fewer ingredients.  I want to make sure that even if you have 5 kids… cooking is easy, stress free, and the kitchen is the most inviting place in the house!

How did you start cooking?

Honestly, I’m not quite sure.  I have always LOVED food.  I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Food.  So I always loved learning about food and the chemistry behind it.  My spiritual gift hospitality (if you don’t know your spiritual gift, I encourage you to take a test here) and so bringing people together around the Table has always come naturally to me.  It really shocks me that others desire to have a ‘love’ for the kitchen, but it just doesn’t come naturally.  I really want you to enjoy the kitchen and find a peace when cooking for others. 

What’s your favorite thing to cook?

I love sauces.  My herb dressing is probably my favorite – especially when you put it on roasted potatoes and veggies!  It’s amazing!  I also love my Tzatziki sauce and my Garlic Aioli!
