One of my dearest friends loves tea parties. When she announced she was pregnant with her second baby, I knew we had to go with a tea party. The invitation read, “please join us for a “high tea for the mommy to be” and we were so excited! Responding to RSVPs is a lost art in today’s culture. SIGH!
We had about 20 around a large farm table that was set with blue and white oriental china, to celebrate the baby boy that would be joining the Miller clan, and topped with pink flowers to give the feminine touch.
We made a variety of little sandwiches and cookies to fill tiered dessert stands and finally had the cutest little tea pots around the table that every other person shared. It was the sweetest little Sunday afternoon tea party! It doesn’t take much to have an insta-worthy party, I promise!
Don’t forget to leave me a comment below to let me know what you thought about the post, what I could explain more, or how I can help you be a better hostess! I love entertaining. I love decorating for a theme. And I hope I can inspire you to decorate, host, and enjoy it too!
